Hello, my name is Brooke Wilson. I am a current 4th-year student attending the University of Georgia on the pre-dental track. I will be receiving my degree in Health Promotion and Behavior, with an emphasis in Health Services, from the College of Public Health. This past year, I have been a dental assistant volunteer, completing over 100 hours. This experience has been so meaningful to me and has strengthened my clinical confidence while showing me the importance of empathy, adaptability, and teamwork in a dental setting.
This past November, I had the amazing opportunity to go to Cusco, Peru, where I served as a dental assistant for a community in need. During this trip, I worked alongside dentists and peers in a fast-paced environment. It was truly an eye-opening and rewarding experience.
Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, staying involved on campus, and cheering on Georgia football!
